Today Jon from K Consultants was down at Kimberley College in Bedfordshire, working with a team of students who are on the young enterprise initiative.
As one of the business mentors, I am responsible for helping these students understand how to go about running their business more effectively.
In the sessions we have done with them, he have gone through setting up the managing director, the Sales Director, Marketing Director, and finance director. As well as all the other associated roles within the company or organisation, in order to try and ensure that the team can be as successful as possible in selling the products and services they are choosing to represent and deliver.
What we demonstrating to these students is to help them do exactly what we would do when business clients come to us at K Consultants.
As we go through, we try to maximise the potential of each business through effective use of the whole range of data available to them through their accounting system By maximising their use of data, we can then help them in maximising everything else they are looking to achieve, in what they want to do and sell, in order to try and further their business.
